Disbarred IRS attorneys

Earlier I had posted about IRS attorneys disbarred for cutting a deal with tax shelter defendants.

Tax prof Paul Caron has much more.

Can't really say I understand any of it, but it doesn't look like anything really changed as a result of the punishment of the attorneys.

Those found guilty are still adjudged guilty; those let off the hook are still off the hook. Looks like the court was just mad that it wasn't told of the deal.
